Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre enter and he mentions that we are waiting for Seth Rollins to arrive. Kurt mentions that Seth had some travel issues coming back from China.
Kurt Angle is on the phone and he is trying to get in touch with Seth Rollins, Dolph and Drew return for an update on Seth’s travel plans. Drew says that Seth is afraid of them. Drew says if Seth does not sign the contract, then the match won’t be official. Kurt says that Seth will be there. Dolph wants to look at the contract to make sure that everything is okay. Later backstage we see Dolph and Drew reviewing the contract for Dolph’s Intercontinental Title Match at SummerSlam.
Dolph and Drew are back. Kurt asks if the contract is satisfactory. Dolph has an issue with the provision that Seth can have someone in his corner. Kurt says since Drew will be in Dolph’s corner, Seth gets to have someone in his corner. Dolph is okay with the provision.
Dolph Ziggler’s music interrupts and he makes his way to the ring and he is joined by Drew McIntyre. Dolph says we know that Seth isn’t here so let’s get this over with. Drew says you cannot suspend Brock because you have already lost one title match so you don’t want to lose another one. Drew says that Kurt will probably prop up Roman. Dolph asks if he will still have to defend the title on Sunday.
Kurt introduces Seth Rollins but no one comes out. Dolph says we all know that Seth is not coming out. Drew says that the ‘travel issues’ are probably that Seth cannot get away fast enough.
Dolph says Seth was a great champion but the focus is on WAS. Since he cannot beat them, Seth quit. Drew says they respect Seth Rollins. They formed their alliance to stop the complacency. You have to outwork everyone around you to grab that brass ring. Some of you think by being on Raw, you have made it. Seth tried to prove that he was the best every week. That made him and Dolph work harder.
Dolph says Seth pushed himself too hard for them. Every night, he wore his heart on his sleeve and he busted his ass for the WWE Universe. That is a one way street. Dolph says they forget. They love when Seth burns it down. You don’t remember when Dolph stole the show. It is all meaningless. Every time you feel disappointment, you turn your back. You did it to him and you will turn your back on Seth. You are going to turn your back on the next guy and the next guy. This vicious cycle will never end . . . because of you.
It is easy to be around for the fun times, but where were you during the hard times. Now for the first time in his life, someone truly has his back. He does not mean someone who rides his coattails and cashes a paycheck. This psycho pushes him to do better every night. Dolph says he does not care about any of you and he does not care about stealing the show. They do what they want and they took the damn thing over.
Dolph asks for the contract and they can officially make it a Seth Rollins forfeit. Kurt gives Dolph the contract and Ziggler signs it. Dolph says they are done.
Seth Rollins’ music plays and he makes his way to the stage. Seth says it is not like him because he is usually on time. Seth apologizes to everyone for having to listen to Dolph. Seth says he has been here for a while but he wanted to wait until Dolph signed because of what Seth was going to say.
Seth says he dealt with some travel issues, but they are not his travel issues. Seth says with the clause about having someone in his corner, it was there for a particular reason. Seth says he was tired of dealing with them two on one and since you are going to have the Scottish Psychopath in his corner, he might as well have a lunatic in his.
Dean Ambrose makes his way to the stage. Dean and Seth go to the ring and they square off. Seth wtih a super kick to Drew and Dean with the double underhook DDT on Drew.
