 Drew McIntyre

While many fellow 15-year-olds were worried about sitting at the “popular table” at lunchtime, Drew McIntyre was already training to become a WWE Superstar. He didn’t have to wait terribly long to achieve his dream, either, as the endlessly athletic Scotsman skyrocketed from the U.K. independent scene to the big show, WWE, at just age 22. The outlook was so bright for the 6-foot-5 McIntyre that when he first arrived, Mr. McMahon labeled him a “future World Champion.” The Chairman was eventually proven correct, though fulfilling that prophecy did not come easily for McIntyre.

Drew says Shane is the best in the world, but Drew is the most dangerous. Drew says he owes Reigns and he will physically assault him until he is on longer recognizable at Stomping Grounds, and then he will beat Reigns 1-2-3. Shane says Drew is so intense but that’s why he loves him. Shane says it’s time to relax some and celebrate. Shane starts popping bottles. Reigns goes for the Superman Punch but Shane cuts him off in mid-air with a chop block. Shane covers for a close 2 count. Shane tries to get the Triangle choke applied now. Reigns starts fading before Shane gets the hold fully applied. Reigns ends up powering up, lifting Shane and dropping him with a powerbomb. Shane still kicks out at 2.

Shane accidentally hits the referee on the way down to the mat after Reigns nails him with a right hand. Drew comes in to take advantage of the referee bump, leveling Reigns with a Claymore Kick. Shane takes advantage of that and covers Reigns for the pin to win.

We are back and Shane McMahon is in the ring and he is joined by Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. He gets introduced by Greg Hamilton. Shane asks if it is okay if they go to the end of what happened last night and he wants to see it again.  Shane says imagine what he does on Friday.  What he did was like training a dog.  It runs around the place and you have to show it some discipline and who is the boss.  There is that one dog that is a bit more high spirited, like Roman.  What do you do with a dog like that?  You have to take it to a different level.  That is what he is going to do on Friday when he snips and he neuters the Big Dog and it lays at the heels of the best in the world.

Roman Reigns makes his way to the stage.

Scott and Dash go up the ramp and Roman with a Superman punch to Dawson and he sends Wilder into the set and then hits a Superman punch.

Roman sees Shane in the ring and Shane takes off his jacket and Roman makes his way to the ring.

Drew McIntyre with a Claymore as Roman gets to the ring.  Roman is sent into the ring and Drew picks up Shane as Shane does the wind up and gives Roman a spear.

We see Shane McMahon in his office with Drew McIntyre and Elias.

Shane is in the ring with Drew McIntyre and Elias for Shane McMahon Appreciation Night.

Shane says when Drew came up with the idea for Shane McMahon Appreciation Night, he was hesitant because he is not a hero who does things for a trophy or adulation or a celebration.  Shane says he enjoys his life.  He enjoys being out here around all of you.  Shane says he is a humble man.  He came back to help run a family business and the greatest adulation he can accept is looking out at you and seeing smiles on faces.  Whether you are here in the building or watching at home, there is something that will make sure that there are smiles on your face as Smackdown goes off the air.

We have a video for Shane McMahon. Shane says that was an amazing video thanks to Kevin Dunn.

That video was not just entertaining, but it was educational for Roman Reigns.  If last night was not enough when he beat down one of Roman’s family members.  You think you can break all the rules, but the McMahon family has been putting food on your family’s table for generations.  When you came to the ring and hit the Chairman, you bit the hand that feeds you.  Shane tells Roman he hopes he can hear him.  He is not just going to beat Roman, he is going to beat some respect into Roman.

Elias says that was powerful and he says he wrote a song for Shane to honor this special night.

Elias says Shane is the best in the world.  He is better than the best, just like Texas is better than Oklahoma.

R Truth comes into the ring and Drake Maverick enters the ring and Truth with a kick and gourdbuster for a three count.

Truth celebrates his victory and then he stops when he sees Shane in the ring.  Shane kicks Truth and Drew and Elias attack Truth. Elias with Drift Away and Drew sets for a Claymore and hits it.  Elias pins Truth to become the 24/7 Champion.

Shane says he has an idea.  If Truth wants to inject himself into the celebration, tonight, Elias will team with Drew McIntyre to face R Truth and . . . Roman Reigns.

Shane says he is suspending the 24/7 rules until the match is over.

Match Number Four:  Roman Reigns and R Truth versus Elias and Drew McIntyre (with Shane McMahon)

Elias and Drew attack Truth as he comes to the ring and Roman comes to the floor and he stops Elias and sends Drew into the ring post.  Roman sends Elias into the ringside barrier and Shane backs off.
