 Drew McIntyre

While many fellow 15-year-olds were worried about sitting at the “popular table” at lunchtime, Drew McIntyre was already training to become a WWE Superstar. He didn’t have to wait terribly long to achieve his dream, either, as the endlessly athletic Scotsman skyrocketed from the U.K. independent scene to the big show, WWE, at just age 22. The outlook was so bright for the 6-foot-5 McIntyre that when he first arrived, Mr. McMahon labeled him a “future World Champion.” The Chairman was eventually proven correct, though fulfilling that prophecy did not come easily for McIntyre.

Kurt Angle’s music plays but it is interrupted by Dolph’s record scratch and Drew McIntyre.

Drew says when he first showed up on Raw, he said he would take over. Do you believe him now? First, he broke the Shield and he broke Kurt Angle. Last week, Kurt went into their match an Olympic Gold Medalist, a Hall of Famer, a National Treasure, and an Icon. After the match, he was nothing more than an embarrassment. Drew says Kurt gave him everything, but when he looked in Kurt’s eyes, he saw Kurt’s will to win fading. Kurt realized he was in the ring with a superior opponent. Drew says that he saw Kurt crying.

He tells Finn to turn around and go back up that aisle and cry to his Balor Club.

Finn says he has dealt with bullies his entire life. Finn suggests that they have a match right here and right now.

Drew says he doesn’t know what is more fragile. Your feelings or your body, but if you want a match, you’ve got a match. It is not against him. You are going to have a match against the man who is the true Best in the World . . . Dolph Ziggler. If you can defeat somebody like Dolph, Drew says maybe he will lower himself to Finn’s level.
